Apple has again revealed another new product to be added to its well known series of laptops. Unlike Apple’s MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, this new invention is simply called MacBook. I’m sure most of us are quite curious about this newest Apple product. We might even have some questions like “what is this new Apple MacBook?” or “what are its features?” or may be even “what is something new about this?”. And we are here to find out more about the newest Apple MacBook.
During Apple’s special event, which was held last March 2015, Apple claimed that its newest MacBook is the lightest and the thinnest Macbook in existence as of today. Weighing only 907 grams and measuring 13.1 mm thick, this MacBook would be the perfect companion wherever you go. Being this light and thin, you will not have any difficulty in carrying it with you. Other than its weight and thickness, what are the other aspects that we consider for a laptop? There is no doubt that one of the aspects that we consider is the display.
The Apple Macbook has a 12-inch retina display with edge-to-edge glass that brings everything into focus. The moment you opened it, the first thing you will notice is the retina display that shows a very vibrant and detailed screen. Its resolution has also improved, rendering 3 million pixels each letter with crystal clarity.

Although Apple’s Macbook is so thin and light, the company made sure that its keyboard will not be sacrificed just to achieve its lightweight and thin structure. Apple redesigned the MacBook keyboard in order to fit its thin structure. The company made the keyboard thinner but it still remains a full-sized keyboard that gives the precise and comfortable feeling when typing. Aside from the keyboard, Apple’s Macbook shows off the new Force Touch trackpad.
The Force Touch trackpad detects the pressure you’re applying and give you new ways to interact with your MacBook. And like the Apple Watch, you will also experience a haptic feedback from the Force Touch trackpad. It sends vibrations that add the sense of touch to what you see on the screen.
Apple also highlighted the battery life of the newest Macbook. The company describes it as “all day” battery life. But it doesn’t mean that the battery life of this MacBook will lasts for 24 hours. What Apple really means is that the battery life of this MacBook can lasts for 9 hours of surfing the web. This Macbook also have 2 ports only. One for the headphones and the other one for a USB Type-C port which is pretty much provides everything like charging, speedy USB 3 data transfer, and video output.
This MacBook is using the OS X as it operating system designed to be as easy to use as it is beautiful to look at. The Macbook also comes with built-in applications which give users an easy start to use it. This newest Apple Macbook is available in three different colors which are silver, gold and space gray and will be available on stores this April 2015.
