The 360 Case

I find the ability to have phone and tablet on same board is game changer for me. I primarily use my iPad for illustration and when on the go I can now have my reference up on the iPhone making it easier then using screen space on iPad. I find the magnets a bit finicky to get the phone and iPad to be firmly planted and phone sometimes falls off. I don’t have a case on my phone so may be even more difficult to get phone to stay in place. Would recommend stronger magnets for phone/ iPad combo. Otherwise great and am nitpicking. Definitely the best iPad case I have used.

This is my fourth Zugu iPad case and I continue to reorder because these cases are well designed, built to last, and given their design and quality, priced reasonably.

I just purchased the upgraded iPad Zugu case that features a clever design element allowing users to place their iPads in either portrait or landscape positions. As with the original Zugu iPad case, the landscape (horizontal) position is the most commonly used orientation. However, there are situations that the portrait (vertical) position is optimal. For example when reading electronic magazines or books on an iPad, portrait orientation allows for a larger single page view that is often preferable to the 2-page split view of the landscape layout.

My only wish is that this upgraded case was offered in more colors and finishes.

As far as I'm concerned ZUGU has long been the gold standard by which all iPad cases are measured, but I must admit, there have been more than a few times when it would have been great to have my iPad in portrait mode for whatever I was using it for at the time--without propping the ZUGU-encased iPad against something else. I mean, c'mon, I wasn't going to use another manufacturer's rotating case because over the years ZUGU has proven time and again that their case both protects the iPad and looks great doing it. So, I just lived with it. The protection and the style far outweighed the (minor) inconvenience.

Then, the ZUGU 360 Case arrived on the scene. A little spendy? Yes. Would I like it better in red? Yes. Did either of those things give me pause? A little bit, yes, but thanks to a manufacturer discount code, I decided to take the plunge because I use portrait mode quite a lot--especially for reading, sketching, and note-taking, and I wanted the same protection for the iPad I've become accustomed to. So glad I did because it's everything ZUGU promises it will be: strong protection and an elegant solution to longstanding issue.
